  • The Viroqua Food Co-op first opened its doors in 1995 as a retail grocery cooperative in a former egg store in Viroqua, Wisconsin. In 2005, the Co-op moved from its tiny, funky digs into a brand new 4,400 square foot space on Main Street. Now with over 3,500 owners, the VFC is expanding once again, to better meet the needs of the community. VFC prides itself in being a one-stop shopping experience in a beautiful and comfortable environment. We are a full service grocery store and deli emphasizing organic and local foods. We have an extensive selection of natural and organic groceries, bulk items, produce, body care, supplements, fresh meats and cheese, craft beer and wine, deli, and bakery. Viroqua Food Cooperative provides a retail outlet for more than 175 local growers and food producers. VFC contributes to our community by sponsoring educational events and donating to numerous local organizations. VFC’s Cooperative Community Fund helps us take Cooperative Principle #7 to the next level by offering grants to local organizations that provide food, nutrition and gardening education within our community.
